The Tigray Islamic Affairs Supreme Council is the supreme administrative and spiritual authority for Muslims in the National Regional State of Tigray. We are an autonomous body working in coordination with the Federal Majlis to ensure the rights and welfare of our community.
Tigray Islamic Affairs Supreme Council
Tigray holds a unique place in Islamic history as the land of the First Hijrah, where the righteous King Nejashi welcomed the companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Today, we continue this legacy of tolerance and faith. Following the recent re-establishment of ties with the Federal Supreme Council, we are rebuilding our institutions to serve the post-war needs of our people.
